I've also had a lot of breakouts since starting the diet 5 months ago. I hoped it would go away and it was just by body detoxing all the bad stuff. But now it's getting worse.. Mine isn't exactly acne though. It's redness on my cheeks with little bumps that never come up.
I do wash my face with products that are all natural, fragrance free, paraben free, and hypoallergenic. And use only mineral makup.
I seen pictures from when I graduated from high school and my skin was clear. It was sooo nice. And I ate whatever I wanted, including yucky fast food.
Maybe it's an ingredient in the IP foods? Time to dig out the nutritional data of the products I consume. I am going to see a dermantologist later this month though. I hope they have some insight. Otherwise I may try eliminating soy. I know some people have soy sensitivity and that could be it. I have been having soy burgers a lot lately..
Or maybe it's just stress. I work a lot and being on a diet on top of that stresses me out! Anyways, I hope it goes away.
Editing to add that I researched a bit more and sucralose has been known to cause breakouts as well.
