Good morning all! a bit of a downer this morning for me for the last two days I was 169.5 FINALLY out of the 70's after all this time... and this morning? 171 wth????????? NOW trying to think what it could have been and the ONLY thing I can think of is my water intake has dropped in the past two days. I have a question. Does the weight today represent what we did yesterday, or the day before? I know Carla mentioned something about ketone results are 24 hrs after what we ate or didn't eat??? did I understand that right? and is it possible, that the lower water intake could show up as a 1.5 GAIN?

It actually could be salt or your cycle...and Yes you have to drink the water to cleanse...give it another day or two and you will be surprised....

ok .... and come to think of it.... (duhhh) I had two mid sized pickles before bed while watching biggest loser... probably the salt in that... because there is NO way its 1.5 of FAT

Good Morning Everyone!
Today is a freezing day in Chicago. Right now is -5F . TOM is around the corner and I have been craving sweets since yesterday. On top of that I have tons of bags of candy canes and chocolate at home as I am making treat bags for all my students. Talk about torture!! I have not crave sweets for 4 weeks. If anyone has any ideas on how to handle this, please post it. I'm having a hard time.

How about allowing yourself an extra packet of something sweet? What comes to mind is making the chocolate drink mix with hot water - it really makes a lovely warm cocoa drink. It has sustained me through some pretty cold New England mornings. Even if you have an extra packet it's far fewer calories and carbs than giving into those sugary candies, which will take much more toll on your body, your pancreas, and your overall weight loss.

Remember your goal and how sweet it will be to reach that! No piece of candy can match the sweetness of looking and feeling the way you want to. I'm rooting for you!

Good morning everyone!!!

Sooooo....I had my 3rd WI last night!!!!

Im down 4 more pounds!!!???

That makes 14 pounds lost in 3 weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am feeling spectacular!!!
In addition to seeing my weight go down, I must say that I have just felt great overall!
No more naps after work!! Im just a ball of energy and loving it.
I get so much more done everyday just because of the energy I have now!!!

IP has changed my life in such a short amount of time and I am so excited to continue down this path to the new me!!!

AND....I enjoyed my 1st restricted item last night! The BBQ ridges are AWESOME!
I will now be adding 1 restricted item per week!

I hope you all have a fantastic day!!!!

Getting pretty excited....only 8 more sleeps till we leave for our DS's for Christmas AND only 10 more sleeps til comes!!!!

Congrats Jules26! It is an awesome feeling! And I too enjoy the BBQ ridges, if I know I am going to a show, I take a package of the ridges or SW curls with me to avoid the popcorn..



It's a little warmer today in NW Ontario today.. instead of the -34c winds, it's going to a balmy -15c today I'm looking forward to the Christmas break, I work at our local college and this semester has been busy.

Don't worry, unless you got up and ate 5250 calories in your sleep, it is not fat. (that is how many calories it takes to make 1.5 pounds of fat!)

Morning all!! Im holding off to weigh in till tomorrow instead of today I had extra packets so why not wait a day I have finals today so much stress to worry with gettng to the office to weigh too! I did weigh this morning and im down to 200.1 thats 16 pounds in 4 weeks! I really hope this keeps up I'll be phasing in no time if it does! Congrats to everyone on their losses this week! Keep up the good work!
