Absolutely no exciting reason for my user id. The one I usually use was taken and so, because I was impatient to create one, I chose my first name "Marion" and my the first initial from my last name. <<<BORING

some of you may have already figured mine out. i'm from the midwest U.S. good old mister mimal - (MN,IA,MO,AR,LA.)
i was thinking, i need a goal. like running a 5k.
i was looking for races in my area. found a few i didnt even know about.
found the katy trail website. its located in Missouri, can do camping, hiking, horse back riding, even stay at a B&B. possibly, i could do part of the trail for fun, with my family or just dh and me. since i love that kind of thing, sounds great even if we dont do that trail, any camping, hiking, outdoor activity is more fun and doable for me when i'm fit. i've already made alot of progress.

Mine is not very creative - I really should have thought about it more, love reading everyone's name stories.

elle - which is short for Michelle was already taken so I just used my favorite # at the end 12, thinking back- maybe I should have put my age, or weight goal at the end

Mine is also not that exciting but it is easy for me to remember.

Gin: Shortened first name Ginger
Bam: for Belleville Area Mom

I really like how people have come up with some of these creative names to represent there goals.

The name that I normally use was taken, so I wanted something short that would be easy to remember. Also, I LOVED pink when I was a kid. My bedroom had pink shag carpet, pink walls and ceiling, pink curtains, pink bedspread, etc.

Makeitmatter - this is such a fun conversation starter!

Mine is also boring. Kaarin is my middle name and I used it a lot as a user ID. In case anyone is wondering, it is the Finnish spelling of Karen.
I have to say my favourite name on here is 'I'm Svelting' - I love that! We are all on our journey to be svelt.

Ah, so if we see a kaarin somewhere else, it might be you!

tle1103, you move fast my friend.

Here's the story behind my user name:
I originally registered as lcw32. lcw=longcoolwoman, and 32 was randomly generated by rolling dice. That probably tells you something about me, no?

As I started to drop inches and pounds, ScooterMan, my live-in love and fiancé, started telling me that I was svelte. I told him, "No, I'm not svelte yet, I'm svelting." In August I posted about my fat melting and thought of the Wizard of Oz's Wicked Witch of the West, who screeched "I'm melting" when doused with water. I joked that I wanted a new username related to WWotW. A couple of days later, it clicked ... and "I'm svelting!" was created.

makeitmatter, I already told you this about 2 months ago in a PM, so now I'll tell the whole world!.. my real name is Leslie... I got the nickname Sheshie when my younger brother was learning to talk & couldn't pronounce my name... so, Sheshie stuck with me most of my childhood... nowadays the only ones who call me that are my niece & her kids, I'm Aunt Sheshie to them...

hugs

What a fun idea! My name is Jennifer, the most popular girl's name out there I think. It is nearly impossible to use any variation as a username on the internet nowadays so...my name is jen and I became a momma in 1988. Boring, I know!

Now I am looking at some of the avatars. What do they represent to you? I have been boxing since the early 90's and I love it, hence, the avatar.

I would love to hear about yours!

My name is Janice & I love the sound of Janis Joplin wailing the blues.
As for my Avatar, I like the idea of being an animated character. LOL

My avatar is partially explained in my signature, taken in 1988... my goal is to be that thin again, so with the photo on all my posts, I'm reminded every day of what I'm heading for... it was taken in front of the Gateway Restaurant at the Polynesian Cultural Center on Oahu... I wonder if it still looks like that!..

hugs

Well nothing special with mine. My name is Cindy and often people will call me Cinderella and occasionally they will shorten it to Cinders. The 35 is my age!

Yep boring! But as a side note I giggle everytime someone calls me Cinderella! I should be so lucky to be a beautiful Disney princess!

Great stories behind the names! I chose mine, advocatemom, because I'm the mom of a special needs son. He will be 16 in a month and he's changed the course of my life - for the better for sure!
