I also did not like it alone, but have used it for pancakes which were tasty...

Add 1/4 tsp baking powder, 1/4 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp vanilla, 1 egg white, and ~4tbsp water (or to whatever consistency you like). I sprayed a small amount of oil and cooked over medium heat for 5 pancakes served with WF maple syrup. (Same as making pancakes with crispy cereal, but they're a slightly different consistency and make a bit more)

Another idea is to add it ontop of zucchini (I use 1 cup of my alotted veg from dinner or lunch), like an apple crumble...peel and slice zucchini into small-ish pieces (I cut 1/8" slices into quarters), season with spices (I use cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg, and a tiny bit of stevia). Cook for a minute or so in microwave. Meanwhile mix the oatmeal with some water and olive oil (1/2tsp) until you get a 'crumble' consistency; then add ontop of zucchini and cook for another couple of minutes. I would recommend having it with the vanilla RTE pudding that's been frozen for ~45min (and some WF caramel dip drizzled ontop, if you're feeling indulgent).

If you're more of a salt-craver, I know I've seen some recipes for using oatmeal as pizza dough and bread-like things in the recipe threads.

DH and I have pancakes made from the cereal at least 2-3 times a week....

Instead of adding water, DH adds WF chocolate syrup. This morning I added WF caramel to mine. I think it really adds to the flavor!!

Default Soup Packets

I have read that most of us agree that the soup packets leave something to be desired. Unfortunately in my newbie bliss I decided to try everything and ended up with all the soup packets. I found one thing that actually makes them good.

If you have Albertson's Stores near you, get Wild Harvest Organic Chicken Broth. Mix soup with one cup of hot broth. It really is good.

I will make up a whole batch of cabbage or veg soup. Freeze 2 cup portions and add the broth/soup mix. Delicious.

Default Mix Packets & Flavor with Sweet Leaf

Sweet Leaf Flavored Extracts are awesome and a life saver. They are expensive but really enrich the flavor of the shakes. I use 1/2 packets all the time.

1/2 vanilla, 1/2 orange with Sweet Leaf Valencia Orange -
Vanilla with Sweet Leaf Rootbeer
1/2 cappuccino / 1/2 vanilla with Sweet Leaf English Toffee

There are lots of possibilities.

Default IP Chocolate Pancake---waffles

I tried to make a waffle again this weekend and it worked this time!
Here is what I did...

IP chocolate pancake mix
3 oz water
1 egg white
~1/8 tsp guar gum

It cooked faster than a typical waffle, but it worked! It came out thick and slightly crispy on the outside and best of all, it didn't stick to the waffle iron! I had it with DaVinici SF pancake syrup and ICBINB spray, it was heaven on a plate! I'm going to do it again with the IP orange pancake mix this week and eat it with WF apricot jam!

Thumbs up Broccoli and Cheese Soup

I made this for lunch today and will have it more often

Mashed Cauliflower and Broccoli with Cheese sauce

1 cup leftover mashed cauliflower
1 cup steamed broccoli (really cooked kind of mushy)
mix broccoli and cheese soup for a thick sauce about 1/2 cup boiling water ( I used hot water and wisked it)

put broccoli and Cauliflower in a bowl, put broccoli and cheese soup over top and microwave for about 2 minutes.

It just about tastes like real cheese cauliflower.

I just have to say that I tried the Chocolate Pancake/muffin package tonight and made it in the microwave as a "cake" and then put WF Caramel sauce on top. DELICIOUS! Now when I want a piece of cake (I love cake) I will make this as my restricted item.

I like to get cinnamon everyday so I put it in the cereal before blending. I like to put WP caramel drizzle on the pancake and then roll it up like a crepe. WP syrup on top and it's great.
