Default First Week losses for those starting around or above 275lbs

Hi again, and again!
Regarding same friend that is thinking about Dr.B. She is curious what the first week or two are like in terms of losses, for women starting at her weight. I told her it varies from person to person, but if anyone out there is willing to share, I would love to pass those results on. I didn't want to give her any unrealistic expectations, but I do want to encourage.

Thanks again everyone!

Default My first 15 days

I have been on the IP diet since May 18th, which makes it 15 days now. I followed the diet exactly, no cheating, and also kept track of the calories on Calorie King (I put all the foods into my database there from the IP website). I eat 3 protein packets a day, 2 cups of veggies at lunch & dinner, 5 oz meat (7 if fish), and the recommended vitamins & supplements.

My weight loss is as follows:

May 18 - 264.0 - calories 676
May 19 - 263.0 - calories 872
May 20 - 258.9 - calories 607
May 21 - 257.5 - calories 786
May 22 - 254.5 - calories 712
May 23 - 254.0 - calories 700
May 24 - 250.2 - calories 795
May 25 - 249.3 - calories 675
May 26 - 248.3 - calories 658
May 27 - 247.0 - calories 668
May 28 - 247.4 - calories 700
May 29 - 246.3 - calories 834
May 30 - 247.5 - calories 629
May 31 - 244.6 - calories 593
June 1 - 245.7 - calories 682
June 2 - 244.5 - calories 706

Lost so far - 19.5 pounds in 15 days. The lost was dramatic at first, and has bounced around a little, probably due to a little irregularity, or the days I ate beef instead of chicken (or maybe a bit too many veggies). But still, pretty darn good. 14.7 pounds the first week! 3.6 the second. I hope to keep it to about 3.5 lb/week (0.5lb/day) loss. My goal (I'm 5'9") is a maximum of 190, would like 180, and would totally love (but probably not get to) 170... and if I did, I'd probably have to go for an even 100 pounds lost, but that isn't going to happen.

I don't know how many inches, because I have my foot taped, so can only weigh in on Wednesday, and the office was closed for a weeks vacation, so I won't get the official inches & pounds until next Wednesday (3 weeks in). But I've dropped from a size 22 to a size 20 (loose) already, and people are noticing!

So wish me luck, and will power - because I've got to at least make my intermediate goal of 225 by July 21st! That's 19.5 pounds in 50 days (~ 6 wks) = .39 lbs/day.

Sgorny! You are AMAZING!!!!! Those are incredible results! All the luck and willpower headed your way, although they way you have started out the gate I don't think you will need it!

Thanks everyone, I think it is so hard to start this program, the disbelief that it can really work (if we do, lol) and that it IS possible, and the road is not endless. Like you say so many time Jordanna, it's about the mini-goals.
You guys are awesome
