Alternatives are great. This week, I used a combination of IP products and Protidiet, and let me tell you, I lost 9 lbs, and you can bet I will be ordering alternatives next week. The difference in the cost of the alternatives vs. IP is a real +. Also, I know a doctor who has his patients on an IP type diet (3 packets a day + 1 meal ) and he only uses Protidiet products. According to his program, you lose 15-20 lbs a month, so yay for alternatives

Hello,
Attached are the IP sheets to help you do the protocol.
Good luck.

Lunch: Usually a soup (ordered from proteinwell.ca) or a on some rare occasion a shake (I buy the big protein jars from Popeye or anywhere else I find something that is similar to IP nutritional value and at a good price, the best I liked is the Ultimate Nutrition ISO Sensation, they are yummy, up till now I tried the banana one and the strawberry one, both taste amazing). + 2 cups of veggies with 1 tsp of olive oil.
3pm Snack: a pudding (from proetinwell.ca) or on some rare occasion a shake.
Supper: 8 oz of beef, chicken, pork or tofu + 2 cups of veggies with 1 tsp of olive oil. (Sometimes I do a stir fry using some soy sauce, garlic, ginger and green onions, and sometimes, I bake my veggies in the oven).
Hope I answered your question well.

Do you add any salt? My protocol suggests 1/2 tsp Real Sea salt per day I put it in my oil in my sald? Just wondring.

Yes cinnamon is ok and baking powder would not affect your weight loss since you use a very small quantity for making pancakes or waffle or whatever mixed to your protein powder

I'm on Ideal To Go and have never seen these recipe sheets. NICE! Thanks so much for including them. By the way, our sheets on P1-3 all include up to 8 oz of protein (beef, chicken, fish etc.). It was 5-7 oz when I began a year ago but changed to 8 oz sometime around April? I think it was.

Hi,
It has been a while since I ordered from Nashua even though they have yummy stuff that I like, but since money is tight now I have to do with cheaper stuff.
Anyway, long story short I male pancakes with the whey sensation brand I bought from Popeye and every time they come out great. So I guess it should also work with the Nashua pudding.

do you know if any of the Atkins bars or products can be used a the one "restricted" item?
I am doing so well, but the cost is killing me. I'm going to go buy the EAS shakes, but i was wondering about the restricted items.

So Im going to have to start doing the alternative thing and I was really nervous until I read everyones success on here. I am in nursing school and just cannot afford 90$ for my food. I saw on here that someone makes a omolette by using 3 egg whites and 1 yolk in place of the IP omolette. Thats an awesome idea! Is the nutritional value about the same. I have 1 week of IP products left and then I will start the alternative method. Yay for saving $$$!
