IP diet questions!!!

I am new to this diet and it has been 3 days. In my packet is says no cooked onions and raw peppers, they turn into sugar when cooked too much; I made pepper steak last night with lots of lettuce. Do you think it will throw off my weight loss? Is it only men that loose more than 7 pounds in a week?
My goal is to loose 67 pounds any advice would be much appreciated

I don't think it'll affect you THAT much to be honest. Unless you are eating a pound of onions lol. I think that's a tad extreme- and onions totally save me from using things like salt.

Oh great !! Thank God!! I am weighing in for the first time. I have been reading and I notice a lot of people saying they lost like 8 pounds in a week. Is that truely possible. I know for men they say it is about 7 pounds.

Just be careful not to overdue it! I would add less onions and more peppers. You need to get into ketosis this first week and too many carbs will keep that from happening.

unfortunately, guys are the lucky ones who can lose up to 7 lbs a week regularly... as a female, you'll probably average 3-5 lbs a week -- which by the way, is AWESOME! no other diet can compare - and it's ALL FAT!

I'd limit the cooked onions - if you're eating them, make sure that they are only slightly sauted. If cooked too well then the onion sugar is actually created.

Good luck !

It sounds a little strange, but i have been adding minced onion (the kind you buy in the spice section) and adding them at the end to whatever i'm cooking. They don't have the strength of raw onions, but add a little something extra without having to worry about them caramelizing.
