Congratulations to everyone for such a great first week! I hope the second week is as successful... Official weigh in for me is on Wednesday, but so far, down 6 pounds.

My first week I lost 11 pounds. My scale shows me down 19 now at 2 weeks but will have my official weigh in tom. I can feel a big difference in my stomach, it is shrinking!

It's so great to hear all the stories - I went for my first weigh in after about 9 days and I've lost 7 pounds - yes, it works!!!

Congratulations! I had my "official" weigh in today and lost almost 6 lbs and lost 2" around my waist. So happy with the results so far and much happier now that I found this forum.

Weighed in this morning and down 7.5 lbs for my first week! Woo-hoo! I'm doing the alternative IP and was away for the weekend, where despite my best intentions, I did not stay below my desired 35 carbs/day. But, I'm very excited because this is real life and I'll take the -7.5 any week! Yay!!!

I lost 10 pounds by just cutting out sugar and flour. I say just like it was easy. I hope to add cardio this week.

I lost 13 my first week. That was unusual they say. I'm now on day 31 and have lost 21.5 pounds.

My first weigh in was Aug. 30th I was down 10lbs & 8.75 inches. Now I am down 24lbs.
Just want to say this is a fantastic place to read and learn from as well as great support system. Keep up the good work!

I weighed in this evening and I'm down 6 lbs. my first week! It would have been more if I would have actually stayed on the program all 7 days. My dr. is happy for me and we're anxious to see what I can do in Week 2 by staying on the plan.

Congrats on all your weight loss ladies it must be very exciting for you! My 1st weigh in was Sept 16 & I had lost 10lbs & 10.5inches woo hoo it feels great! I am excited for my weigh in this week I hope I see some good numbers then too!

At my first WI I lost 13.2 pounds, but I'm not sure how many inches I lost.

Default Unofficial first weigh-in
I started three days before going to the doctor's (friend gave me plan and food). So today was officially one week and I weighed in at 9.2 pounds down....yippeeee! My official weigh in with the doctor will be Thursday (I was already down five by the time I went to the doctor).
