I have seen several comments about a "free" day. I was not told that by my counselor. Anyone else been told they get a free day?

You definitely wouldn't want a 'free day' in Phase 1 or 2. The diet is based on being in ketosis during those stages, and I'm sure what you'd want to eat on a 'free day' would knock you right out of it. It would take approximately another 3 days or so (depends on the individual) to get back into ketosis.

Ditto everything evepet said above, you Do Not Cheat on this diet in the early phases...but in Phase 4 you do have a free day followed by a P1 day, because you still have to pay the piper, but your conscience gets cleaned after you indulge!
