I found this recipe in the most improbable place -- a blog that seems to scream carbohydrates. With one tiny substitution it's IP-acceptable and I'm dying to try it as soon as I can find grass-fed organic steak.

Happy sunday everyone ! I was wondering what spices I could use to put on my turnip fries. I tried them once, and I wish I could have some sort of bbq spices. I tried basil, and chilli pepper. What have yourguys put on them. I did like them I was surprised. I found that to slice them tiny so they were nice and crispy.
1/4 cup broccoli
1/4 cup celery
1/4 cup cucumber
1/4 cup tomato
2 cups iceburg lettuce
heat grill. Take your sirloin steak brush both sides with olive oil and season with montreal steak spice. Once grill is good and hot grill steak the way you like it and set aside.
Combine iceburg lettuce, broccoli, celery, cucumber and tomatoe on a plate. Cut your steak into strips and put on top of salad and add your favorite dressing and serve.
does anyone have any secrets for making the crepes.. I tried them this am and they ended up more like scrambled eggs. I used a crepe pan but couldn't get them to flip.. I was thinking maybe smaller crepes.. but open to ideas..
Everyone that has had success at making these say that the key to the crispiness is for them to be dry. Do you think putting them in a dehydrator for awhile would work?
I read somewhere about grating cauliflower to make fried rice. I experimented with it last night and it was fantastic!
I used green onions , mushrooms, zucchini, and the grated cauliflower and chicken. I used sesame oil and tamari sauce to flavor. I was in heaven!

I am also looking for a cauliflower version of Mashed Potatoes?
Can anyone share?
I generally just steam asparagus, so I'm not much help there...
Cauli mashed faux-tatoes...
1 bag frozen cauliflower
5-10 cloves garlic
a little olive oil
Steam, microwave or boil cauliflower till VERY tender (steaming or microwaving is preferable for maximum nutrients). Roast 5-10 cloves of garlic in foil (drizzle with olive oil) at 350 for a half hour or until golden and tender. Drain cauliflower and put in a bowl with the roasted garlic cloves. Use an immersion (stick) blender to puree until the consistency of mashed potatoes. Return cauliflower to stove and let some of the water boil off over med-high heat to make it more mashed potatoey. I like to add a little RF feta for creaminess if I haven't had my 1 oz. of dairy for the day. Yummy stuff! I add the garlic because it helps cover the "cauliflower-iness". Use a packet of chicken soup to make gravy if you want!
Oven roasted asparagus is amazing. Just break the thick ends off the asparagus and spread it on a cookie sheet. Drizzle with olive oil, sea salt and pepper and roast it at 450-500 for about 7 minutes. AMAZING.

coffee crusted steak is amazing! thanks for reminding me about this simple gem! I usually do my ribeyes in a cast iron skillet, super hot, to crisp then flip (without poking with a fork, use a spatula or tongs) i won't be waiting for the grass fed... just got a quarter beef from my friends ranch! yumm!
