I am debating and researching...wondering if I should start IP.
I am going to a couple meetings this week.

Can you tell me the expense for one week what this would be?

appreciate all the help

Wondering what we are supposed to do when we get a cold or flu? The flu is running rampant in the workplace right now and my son has lovingly passed on his cold to me and my husband. Throat and sinuses are killing me but unsure what to take.......
Any suggestions?

OK, I was so wrong. It's worth a try if you are struggling with the veggies, doesn't feel like you are eating a vegetable at all and YUMMY! This from a former turnip hater!

Thanks for the inspiration. We need to keep mixing up the veggie portion of this so we don't get bored and eat something else.
HA! I have also become a turnip fan on this diet. And for some reason, it seems I often get my best daily loss the morning after my turnip consumption. All the more reason to love them!

I am a firm believer in this program. I have struggled with weight gain and loss for over 20 years. After I turned 35, the weight has not wanted to budge - no matter what. Period. I was slated for weight loss surgery, but my chiropractor suggested I try this plan in the meantime.
Since January 2, 2010, I have lost 27.5 lbs!!

I believe that every clinic has a different initial fee they charge (some don't charge anything) but the food itself for one week costs approximately 81.00. Again, prices vary from clinic to clinic, however, I do not think they can go below this price - but they can charge more. The 81.00 covers 3 Ideal Protein packets a day for 7 days. Your coach may start you at 4 packets per day in the first week, so your costs would be extra to calculate the added IP packets.

Hope this helps!

Welcome to 3FC! In order to get a tracker, you need to have been a member for 20 days and have posted a minimum of 25 posts. Some people just write their stats on the bottom of the signature area until they can use a real tracker.

I was so lucky that the day I started the diet I got a sinus infection. I took nyquil a few nights just to get some rest. I took some sudafed and tylenol during the day too. I just felt like I had to treat my illness to stand a chance at staying on the diet. It will be interesting to hear from the others on this.

I hope you get over it quickly!

My clinic did not charge a fee if we attended a seminar they had. My first week cost was 28 time 4 for the packets = 112 dollars and then another 110 dollars for the 1st month of supplements.

Default Going To Vegas

I am going to Vegas this weekend for the NASCAR races. I have been tossing ideas around as if to stay partly on plan or not. I don't think I will go totally off plan but I would really like to have a few drinks with our friends and let my hair down for a few days. I have not had any alcoholic beverages since January 10th. I know the hard liquor does not have any carbs but I get such a headache from it sometimes. I had just turned to drinking beer but that is full of carbs unless you do the low carb beer and not sure I am going to be a fan of that. I see where some of you have mentioned drinking wine. What kind of wine would be a better choice?

Welcome to the board! These people are terrific with all their posts and I learn more here than I do from my coach.
Ha! I'm with you on the measurements... I take my own at home so I know the data is consistent.
