When comparing them, I found the EAS carb advantage shakes more comparable to the IP shakes than the Atkins. (more sugar and carbs, less protein in Atkins). Don't know about the bars. I have substituted the EAS shakes for my morning packet at least once a week, and keep one in the car 'just in case' I get caught out and get hungry....

Confused.....

Thanks
Atkins bars and shakes have a lot more fat grams compared to IP.

Do you this the extra 1 or 2g of sugar in the EAS shakes make a difference? Will it affect my ketosis?

No. Not at all. Look at the higher sugar amounts in the bars, soy snacks, and restricted hot foods. (all 3g to 7 g of sugar) EAS is 1 or 2 g of sugar higher than the shakes.. so from 1or 2 g in the IP to 2 or 3 in the EAS.

I had the dark chocolate today... it was SOO good!

Can we have any packet for any meal? For example - can I have a ready to go drink for my snack?

Also.. i have done so much reading on this board trying to get some add'l info and for some reason I can't open the attachments for the comparisons of alternate products. I need to order but don't want to pay the price from my coach but also want to get something that is most comparable. I know several people in here have ordered there own stuff.. What site is it that is most comparable also the products you would order that matches the closest so I can just go and order. I do thank you for all your help and I look forward to your reply.

You should be able to double-click or right click on the attachments and they should either open in your .pdf reader or you should get a dialog box asking if you want to download the file to your computer.

Back to our EAS Edge carb control discussion...
the EAS shakes have 0 g of Sugar... as in none. The sweetener is sucralose.
I must have been thinking of the Atkins shakes when I referenced the sugar content in grams. SORRY!!

For me, it's Lindora. The NewLifeStyle things have more carbs. I've switched to Lindora with the same results as I.P., only the I.P. keeps you full longer. But for less than half the price, I can deal fine. See below.

here's a site for "liquid diets" of which IP is one(although it's not mentioned). Some answers to stuff we've all mulled over for months.

After 2 weeks I've lost 12 lbs and I'm trying to cut back a little on the caffeine but it's hard and since I've given everything else up I really need to have my tea!!
I use the vanilla shake in my coffee instead of cream and sugar. It's so good.

You might want to try doing IP bootcamp for a week:

Only Non-restricted IP Packages
Only Select Veggies
Stay below 20 grams of NET carbs per day or 30 grams of total carbs

Hiya Frank - the first few days are the hardest until you get in to ketosis (usually takes about 3 days!). Here are some things you can do:

-You can add an extra package of food for the first few days to get through it
-Have a mixed green salad with some oil/lemon juice/sea salt on it to fill you up
-Drink some water with lime or lemon wedges

After three days you'll feel much better and the hunger will go away which makes cravings easier to deal with! I hope that helps! Good luck on IP!

Hi Frank!

For me, hot tea works. I keep an assortment of teas, mostly herbal and decaf types but I really love the GOOD EARTH ORIGINAL too, and when a craving hits I can quickly make a cup of tea. The heat seems to help me and the flavors are usually potent enough to kill a craving.
