Default Goals goals and more goals... 326.3 lost so far

Well, as of today - I have made it out of the obese BMI designation down to overweight. Who would have thought being overweight would feel so darn good.

Next goal is to hit 220. After that, normal BMI - here I come or close to it. I really don't know if I want to go to 200 pounds at 6' 3" (well 6' 2 1/2") I guess once I get to 220 - it will be clearer as to what my final, final fitness goal will be.

You have done great! What does your doc say you should be? Have you needed to do any surgery for extra skin?

Thank you! My doctor says I should shoot for between 198 and 210 - we will just have to see how it goes. I have been having a good steady weight loss so it really is going to come down to body composition and percentage of body fat I think.

I have not had any surgery and on the skin issue, I got lucky. I have a lot of excess skin around my abdomen but it is just that one place. I will definitely need to have surgery to remove it. As overweight as I was, it could have been much much worse. LOL now I just need to find a plastic surgeon that is looking for a poster boy that will give me a discounted rate so I can afford to have it done.

Thanx Charles. Well you are very fortunate to just get the weight off! I kind of worry about the skin thing too. But I am still young and I exercise every day. I also tell myself that it is better to be 135-150 and to have a littler extra skin than to be 280 and have tight skin!!
