Glory, your story is collosal in inspiration, and very powerfully written. In fact, if it weren't so well written, I may not have decided to run down the mountain into town and buy the book. I am reading it and about as attentive to it as if it were chocolate !

I am now on my second day of Superfoods Rx overhaul, and would love to have a whole forum just to discuss it. Are there any other's of you out there where we can exchange successes with on this great and wonderful Rx journey ? PM me if you would like to chum up !

Thank you so much ~ Jen

WOW! Thank you for telling this story. I'm glad you truely told every part you could tell. It is inspiring to me....I am happy for you. I truely want to change my life. I'm a biology major, and I KNOW how unhealthy all the chemicals and high fructose corn syrup is that we put in our body. I want to quit, but I'm never sure how to....

Thanks again! and Congrats!

Thanks for this great post. It answered one of my most pressing questions: what happens after I get to goal? Is this really a permanent lifestyle change? The answer is, treat it like the weight loss process, in terms of attention to what I eat and frequency of exercise.

[COLOR="Purple"][SIZE="4"]I just joined this forum. Read this inspiring post. Ordered Superfoods book. Need to lose 120 lbs and hope and pray that with G O D' S help and fellowship here I can do it. I will set small goals.

I too have been dieting all my life and gained it all back plus.
Always tired, achy, hungry, sad--this way has to stop right now. I just got back from seeing my doctor and told him I have to take pain meds so I can be able to work my shift. This is wrong. Forgive my rambling and thanks for listening.

Wow! What a transformation, and what a well-written and inspiring story. You've really got your head on straight, and I know that you've made this change for good.

I am a fish-eating vegetarian ("vegaquarium") who is into organic and whole foods, and I will definitely look into the Superfoods book.

Congratulations on your success! I, too, look forward to going clothes shopping at my goal weight.

Glory,
I came to this site for inspiration tonight. Thanks to you, I got it.. and more!
Your post is amazing and so right on about so many of the perils of "dieting" vs changing they way we eat permanently. I really appreciate your taking the time to inspire me. Maybe in about 6 months, I can inspire someone else.
Glod bless ... and Glory, Hallelujah!

Hi Glory,

Your story and pictures have inspired me since i first joined. In part because you have lost about the same amount of weight i have to loose. I may be a little taller than you at 5'6" but when i look at your pics i feel like i can relate.
i also think your resemble me a little in the face. I think it just helps to see someone with your own body type and see that it's possible to actually loose the wieght and look good

One thing struck me that you said : if you're hungry, you're doing it wrong!
I agree, and that is one of my goals. to find a diet I can live comfortable on.

you've also inspired me to check out super foods from the library and start incorporating some of those foods into my diet.

and plan, plan, plan. i'd forgotten how important that was to success.

thanks for sharing your story! I hope i will be able to post some pics of myself looking as good as you one day.

thanks for your story and pics!
