Wow! That is amazing! I so agree that it is the small lifestyle changes that are about wellness and good habits that make the most impact and last for a lifetime.

One of the biggest misconceptions about losing weight is the idea that you have to starve yourself thin. This leads to a yo-yo of deprivation and then subsequent bingeing. The outcome is that the body is no longer in control of how much it should be eating as the food relationship is fuelled by guilt and failure that is driven by the mind and emotions. A huge problem a lot of people encounter when trying to lose weight.

I really love your story as you took control of your daily habits and your mind and did not try to crash diet or deprive your body or starve it.

So inspiring!

Arrow How Did you Accomplish this magnificant amount of a weight loss?

Did you use some form of weight training and body sculpting as well as weight loss? Otherwise I would think that your body has gone through a state of shock and now there may be areas that not even weight training and toning could be eliminated w/o medical assistance. Are you healthy too? Are you content being a size 2? I am a size 16, was a 14 and I know it is strange to try on clothes that I once wore and then next time after weight loss they are way too big. Then I donated my big clothes so that I would never be tempted to ever fit into them again. Is your weight healthy for your height. it just seems like to go from a 14 to a 2, would mean that you are now a twig or that you were always a beautiful, petite figure that was waiting to blossom from your layers of protection(dress sizes) and are like 5 ft 2 + or _ a few inches in height? Therefore a size 2 would be appropriate

Good Luck, and see your physician if you haven't already been working with a dietician, they may need to run blood tests or thyroid tests to make sure you are not ill or anything. I care too

THIs is awesome! It really encouraged me to keep going. I’ve been struggling for awhile and just the thought of not being able
To eat whatever I want, makes me eat more. Yet, I’m going to try to make changes. Thanks for the post even though it was 3 years ago!
