Hey guys, I officially hit my weightloss goal today and skipped over it by a little bit as well. I started of my weightloss goal on 12th of December 2012 aiming to get to 110kg by the time I visit the family for this years December festivities and today 9th of November 2013 I reached 109.2kg.
As I was really self conscious of my weight when I started I didn't take any before pictures specifically for a before purpose but I will include a random photo that was taken when i was at my highest weight. Pictures at the end of my wall of text :P
To lose the first 20kg I did a full run through of Insanity and re-did the second month, followed by 2 months of slightly reduced calorie intake for slow loss while studying full time, another full run through of Insanity and then repeated the first month, got bored of doing Insanity switched to Intermittent Fasting with a fairly decent Calorie Deficit to lose the last 17kg. It's been quite an interesting journey and i like that the use of insanity although it didn't really help that much in the weightloss gave me a fair amount of muscle mass so that i won't have to hit the gym to much to have a toned body after i reach my next goal for weight loss.
It's been really good having a place for this last half of my journey to be able to come and talk about issues which arise from this journey we are all going along. It's definetely been a positive experience to get here but it seems there may be an even more challenging journey coming up which is getting used to/happy with my new body and maintaining once i get to my final body i can be happy and proud of.
