i started with weight watchers (no exercise except for 1 pilates class a week) and lost about 60 lbs.
the rest has been yoga/calorie counting... the motto is "live lean, eat clean, train mean". (i like to sub in "practice mean".

Atkins and weight lifting, doing that again to lose what I gained during pregnancy.

I reached my mini goal, not final goal but I can surely say that calorie counting works. I lost almost 45 lbs by counting calories, without exercise.

I haven't reached my goal yet, but I'm making small changes.
Calorie counting and exercise.
I've almost eliminated sodas and juices from my diet. I don't eat much junk food like chips and candy.

South Beach Diet totally rocks!!! I lost all of my weight ( actually 2 lbs under ) and never went hungry. I do admit, however, that I have stayed in the first phase most of the time.

I'm insulin resistant, so I deal with sugar/ snack cravings. Sometimes it's hard to control my appetite. In order not to break my diet, I change my calories several times from 1400 to 1800. I consume (on average) 1600 calories a day.

How are you liking the Medifast? Do you find it to be too expensive?
I'm afraid of the 800 - 1000 calories to start out with.
I am trying to see if I can do it on my own with Special K drinks and mini meals...but I need more control.

How did you feel doing the plan? Did you find yourself hungry or feeling light headed?
I've read that people get those feelings and I'm already "loopy" without those symptoms. I need to keep my head straight at work and not be worried about when I have to eat next, ect.
