I haven't been on the forum since June for two reasons. I've been kind of busy job searching, preparing and attending job fairs and interviews, taking college courses, and composing classical music... but also, I felt like a failure because, as you may remember, my first goal was to get out of the 140s.
I did get to 138 for a little while and then, suddenly, I went up to 142 and stayed in that range. I was so disappointed because I was counting the calories correctly and exercising. I'm not sure why this happened. However, I stayed on track anyway and this morning, I was 133.0!
I'm so excited! I double-checked to make sure... and even if it was a 'fluke', I'm pretty sure that I am no more than 135. This is a relief after spending nearly six months in the 140s!
Now, I'm looking forward to spending the week trying to get out of the 130s while I'm on a 'roll'. I hope that I don't plateau again, but if I do, I would like to be at 120 before it happens...
I am going to work even harder so that I can gain some weight loss momentum before I plateau again.
Thanks for the support!
