I hit goal a couple of months ago...I suppose I waited to see if I was going to lose some more before posting here. I am in the Normal BMI range now!

309 to 158 and still losing and now focusing on getting so much leaner through weight training and continued fitness...my passion for Running!

Calorie Counting, Portion Control, Healthy foods......Cardio! what it is that can excite you, inspire you, motivate you!

That's what this is all about... the time to create the NEW YOU!

Took me one plan and 2 years to implement it. So practical and easy that I lost on average 1.7lbs a week and that was with suffering from pcos that can lead to slower loss than normal because of hormones/insulin-resistance!

It's cliche' as all us ex-fat chicks say it...but if we can do it...so CAN YOU!

Not Only can YOU do it but you are married and have kids...they can do this with you! My Husband Lost 100lbs and my 3 little kids are incredibly healthy! Eating lots of fresh foods...YES...even the vegatables! Do it as a Team...it will make you stronger ♥

I'm always helping people...always doing in the shadows...but now I'm helping people and sharing more and being more about running and eating well that I started blogging!

So if you want you can read my blog....can find me on facebook and chat with me anytime you want...ask question...look for support!

My Hips were 59" and now they are 38" with a 30" waist! My curves be poppin! My HDL is high, my LDL is low, I no longer have high blood pressure. I have reduced my risk of heart disease and cancer and I'm looking forward to growing old with my kids and husband!

We all need a little inspiration...that's why you are here and looking at pics! I remember doing that too!

Fantastic! Look at that collar bone! I have five year old twins and a 3 month old baby, so I relate on the kids--although mine have always eaten healthier than me because I wanted to make sure my bad choices didn't affect them. However, I now LOVE eating like them :) Anyway, you are one hot momma, congrats!!!

Good for you. If you don't mind my asking, at what point weight-wise were you when you started running?

THANKS EVERYONE!

To answer your question, I started attempts on occasion to run when I was about 290lbs....but when I decided I would try to learn how to earn how to run at least 3 miles...I was 265lbs!

It was ok...I never ran into knee problems or any real injury. It was hard of course and in the beginning I could not even run a minute.

I did not follow a c25k program...I basically decided that 3-4 days a week I would go 3 miles and each time I pushed myself with a run/walk routine!
Took 3-4 months and I had my base of 3...then I pushed to 3.5 then 4 then decided I would throw it all to the Wind and Train for my first ever race....HALF MARATHON! LOL. Pretty adventageous, huh! Well at 200lbs and just 9 months after starting the running I ran that half in 2:29 for a 10:45 mile!
