Thank you for posting your story! It is inspriring. Do you have a link to some of those recipes you use? I really need some inspriation and guidence in that department. Cooking for a pick husband and son make staying on plan just that much more of a fight.

Hayley...you know, it's less motivation (because TRUST me, that comes and goes...read some of my more recent threads and you'll see what I mean) and more COMMITMENT. So, right now, I'm VERY unmotivated. Just not feeling it. But you know what? I'm still on plan. Because I've made a commitment to being on plan, so for me, there isn't an alternative.
I think people tend to expect that, when they do this, they'll have some magical motivation that'll carry them through. Incorrect. Only by COMMITTING can you power through not only the times when you HAVE motivation, but more crucially, the times you don't.
Thank you for your comments!

What an AWESOME story! I can really relate to you...I started at 290 myself and am at 196 now but want to lose another 26lbs to meet my goal of 170. I even have a before picture of me singing karaoke in one of my before pics! HAHA! That is so awesome that you were on the cover of Woman's World...you rock! You are my inspiration to get that last 26lbs off! Thank you so much for sharing your story!
