Before and After for Sharon

I am not actually at my goal weight, but I think I am at the weight my body wants. I started in January at 162 pounds, size 12 jeans, size large/extra large shirts. This is Jan 2 2006
Attachment 23550 Here I am 7 pounds from goal MY goal weight but liking the way my shape is and thinking I will stay here and just firm up..... Size 8 jeans, size medium shirts, weight 132 This is Sept 5 2006 Attachment 23551 I am happy with the way I look in clothes now, still not happy with some of the loose gut and stuff and will work to firm that up but I love the way I look right now and that is what I want.:carrot: I have done it with calorie monitoring and walking 2-4 miles on the treadmill. I slip up alot but I always come back fighting. I think these pics will help me stay on track.!! |

I think it is wonderful that you aren't being ridgid with yourself and are instead listening to your body...knowing that where you are now is healthy and that it is a livable place to be at is so important and it's something that I am hoping to embrace this time around! Who cares about the NUMBER? What matters is health, wellness, fitness and being happy with yourself! You look lovely, by the way ;) |

awwww thank you ladies :) I feel awesome to reach a point finally that i am happy with..
Harpo girl you know me well and we have never met. I think I looked fine on the outside in the first pics as well but if you had known me, I was so unhappy on the inside for how i looked. This journey has been to improve my vision of myself inside and out...I feel awesome now Inside myself right now I feel powered and in control and happy for the first time in a long time... My weight loss has not been dramatic but if you had seen the old me and compared her with the new me its like comparing night and day....happy and sad. I hated myself and life back then and now I see someone I love and I am happy with every aspect of my life as it is right now. Even Hubby and kids have noticed the differenct in my overall attitude...friends too :) Hi tamera by the way if you look here again....lol Thanks again ladies :)I wish you all success in your journies :) |
