A jaw dropping story to say the least. I am so impressed with what you over came, you deserve to be proud of yourself! Thank you for sharing, you are truly an inspiration not only for weight loss but for moving forward from the pit of despair. Cheers to you!
"If you are going to win any battle, you have to do one thing. You have to make the mind run the body. Never let the body tell the mind what to do...the body is never tired if the mind is not tired" - General Patton
You are my inspiration. Your before pictures and the way you went by losing the weights sounds similar to me. Starting out is so hard, you expect to see a huge weight decrease or don't even know if your method will pay off. I have only lost 2 lbs this week, and really needed the encouragement. Btw - I bet it felt good to put your pictures on the goal forum, after using it for inspiration so long. Congratulation!
I can relate to the pregnancy lbs packing on and trying to get them off for 10 years. Right there with you! I finally am fitting into the dress I wore when my 1st was baptized in June 2000. Wore it to church Sunday when he acolyted for the first time ;-)
Eight months of lifting heavy things, moving my body, and learning to eat better =57.8 lbs gone! WOO HOO!!
