Has there been any good feedback on this system. I have several concerns before I even think seriously about doing this. I am not keen on no salt or no sugr substitute, or gaining anything back for that matter once I stop and actually start using salt again.
Has anyone gone through the program in a success 6 weeks? If so, please explain what your experience was like. Dificulties, issues, and successes.

Hi everyone,
I just got my 6 week body makeover kit today and I was so excited when I put it together! Everything was going well until I got to the part where I was suppose to put my Fast Track Menu Card in behind my divider tab. Instead of having one Male and on Female card for Body Type A, there was two copies of the Male Body Type A card and no female one. i was wondering if the Male and Female Menu Card was the smae or if not, can someone tell me the difference and I'll just cross it off the card and write in the right amout. Thanks everyone! I can't wait to get started!

I have had this program lying dormant for over 3 years...and after reading everyone's experience with it...I have decided to give it a try. I am focus and will stay committeed until I see the end results. I am 44 years old and a widow, I live with my daughter and grandson. I have two more grandchildren and I am ready to live life and enjoy spending time with them. I am glad that I found 3FC website...the stories and support here is so incredible...so I will be posting as I go along...thanks Jenna for starting this thread.

Hey!
Hello all. So I just stopped over thinking it and ordered this program this morning when watching the infomercial for the 100th time. I always thought it would be something good to try as it teaches you how to eat for life, but never bought it. I can't wait for it to get here so I can get going!!
I'll spend some time reading through this whole thread to see what's already been said before I start asking questions and harrassing y'all. :-)

OK, so there's maybe 4 posts from this year -_-...I'm going to hunt for a newer/more recent thread or create one. I'll post a link in here for the few other people that are just starting since this thread seems to have died. :-)

6 Week Body Makeover
I did a search for threads, and I found one...but it looks dead. There are only 4 posts for this year, so I'm starting a fresh one for anyone else that will be starting soon, or has recently started. The other thread is here: Michael Thurmond's Body Makeover, there are about 19 pages of stuff to look through so it could be a great place for info. But I feel a new thread was warranted seeing how that one was started in 2001 I think the oldest post was dated.
I just ordered the program this morning, so I'm hoping to get it by next week sometime so I can go shopping for my food and get started!! :-D I'd love for anyone to join in so we can support eachother on this journey. I also have a thread where people of any plan can go to for support on your diet plan, or just life itself when you need some encouragement....we can all use that once in awhile. That thread is here: Anyone else trying to lose a person?
So if everyone could answer a few questions as you come in so we can all get to know eachother, that'd be great!
Name: Sara
How much do you have to lose? about 90 lbs
When was your "official" start date? Still TBD once I get my kit
Do you have an ultimate goal reward? A new wardrobe, possibly a vacation
What do you feel you struggle with when it comes to losing? I struggle with staying consistent when life gets stressfull. I'm an emotional eater so when I get stressed out I turn to food.
I look forward to keeping up with everyone!!

Hi, I just spent the latter part of yesterday and this morning reading this entire thread. I too have a (small)person to lose. I still counted it as my 6yr old weighs less than what I have to lose!
MsModelSara, did you receive MT kit already? I've been thinking of starting it but am afraid of the rigidity. Don't really enjoy fish, although I've tried for years, so chicken would be my only source of protein (oh, and egg whites).

Hi! I just got mine in the mail! I've read through a lot of it, and am getting ready to go to the grocery store. I'm an A type and agree BrneydGrl, ...it is a bit restrictive. But when I look at what other foods have gotten me..this has to be the answer! The salt restriction is what I really think will be the hardest thing to overcome. I did get some Mrs Dash, and got some McCormack's Perfect Pinch salt free seasonings...they're really good. That should help give the food a little uumph!! Good luck...you can do it!!!

2nd time around
I am new to this site and hoping it will give me the encouragement I cant find among my skinny friends They are all very supportive, but you know how it is with skinny people
This is my second time on the 6WBMO diet. The first time, I lost 30 pounds in the six weeks. I managed to keep it off pretty well for five months without trying. I gained the weight back when I got pregnant. My daughter is now 22 months old and I started the diet again the middle of July. I was not very diligent on it for the first six weeks- I was in a wedding at the end of it and lost 20 pounds (mostly because I cheated a few times). The little cheating made a HUGE difference- from losing 1 pound to 5! After the wedding, I have completely stuck to it and lost another 20 in four weeks (total of 40!!). I want to loose another 20 by my birthday in a few weeks but because its my birthday and family is coming in town the weekend before- I am considering transitioning to weight watchers in two weeks. As wonderful as the 6WBMO is for quick weight loss, it is completely not something I can stay on the rest of my life! I miss food and being able to eat with people! But I am nervous about the transition- I know that WW looses 2 pounds a week- which I am hoping wont be too discouraging for me after such quick results from this diet. I am also nervous about gaining weight initially and wondering if anyone else has tried this transition and would have any suggestions??
Thanks!
Michelle

I have recently purchased three partial packages of the 6 Week Body Makeover on ebay. with the three purchases, I have a complete package except for the Infinite Menu Planner. Does anyone know where I can purchase this separately?
