I worked with a woman who was on this. She was thin and wasn't trying to lose weight, but she just wanted to be eating as healthy as possible. She said that the diet helped her feel energetic, but not in a peak-and-crash way, more like a calm energy that lasted all day.
I thought that sounded pretty neat, so I borrowed the book from her and read it. I took some ideas from it but didn't try to follow it exactly. Because I usually fail miserably if I try to follow something so organized/strict.
I thought it had a LOT of good ideas though. I am type A and it said (for example) that buckwheat is good for type As. I've found that when I have buckwheat at breakfast I feel awesome all day.
So that's what I know about the diet, hope it helped
