Hi, I'm wondering if anyone else is working with a Paleo or Whole30 type plan and would like to talk. I've been very impressed with my results in the past using this type of diet not just for losing weight but for a multitude of other health reasons. I initially tried Whole30 because I have sleep issues and headache problems and the results were amazing. I was not at all focused on losing weight just following the plan and being healthy and I lost 17 lbs that month. Right now my goal is to lose at least 52 lbs over the next 15 months (I like to give myself plenty of time!). I'd love to be able to chat with like minded people and bounce ideas and recipes back and forth.

I'm not very strict, but I describe my diet as paleo-ish. I've found that I derive a number of benefits from restricting my consumption of grains and sugar. It's also occurred to me that I could derive greater benefit from being stricter and am currently trying to clean things up some.
