Default How much did you lose in the first 3 months?

Hello! I just started this weight loss journey. I weigh 209 and am 5'5".
I am moving back home may 1 so am just curious to how much you lost in 3 months? I know it varies and I may or may not have the same results, just need something to look forward to. I would love to weigh 180 by May. I am just eating 3 healthy meals a day, with 1 or 2 snacks (depending of I'm hungry). Also doing a little cardio 3 days a week.

It was about 20 lbs for me in three months. Currently 8 mo into my journey and at 42 lbs so it's been kind of slow for me. The last month has seen just 4 lb loss.

You may lose 30 lbs in 3 months or not, but I've found it's best to not set a deadline for any goal or mini-goal. Some of us just lose slower than others and there's nothing wrong with that.

12 lbs :/. But there was at least a one month sabbatical in there Due to a job change. I think it could have been ore like 15 to 20 lbs had I focused the entire time. Everyone is different though.

Old thead, but I think this is an interesting subject.

I lost 10 pounds the first 3 months. I had a health problem that slowed down my weight loss near the end of that period. I probably would've lost around 12 pounds w/o that. At my start, I had just under 50 pounds to lose to be at goal (but only about 35 pounds away from a "normal" bmi weight).

Interesting question. As stated above, the variables are many - starting size, motivation, desired speed of loss, health, etc. I started in early May 2016 at 202. (CDC says I should weigh 110-120 lbs) In early August 2016, I was 177. So, 25 lbs off in the first 90 days m/l. I am now 171 in late August. I am doing a modified 5:2 and cycling 10-15 miles per day. I am averaging 1.8 pounds off per week. This includes 2 weeks on vacation in Portugal in July and 3 weeks on the road for work - so no biking, a lot of walking, and varying meal options during those times. I expect the loss to slow down as I get closer to a my upper healthy BMI range (140) and as the weather changes.
