Question South Beach Diet

Could someone tell me if there is a web site where I can get more info on this diet? I have looked at Suzanne Somers and Atkins but have never heard anything about South Beach. Any info would be great because I can't afford to buy ANOTHER book right now.

go to www.prevention.com it has alot of it. also go to www.diettalk.com and go to the south beach message board and she has it all wrote out and lots of receipes. i do not have the book either. today is my 3rd day. was on it over 4th and blew it so started it over this week. alot on diettalk are on it. fun message board also.. good luck. We have a booming South Beach forum here! Look under the low carb forums, it's called Fat Chicks on the Beach We've covered a lot of the diet info, and everyone's shareing helpful tips. I'm following it, too.

I just like to go to different ones is fun.. i am on the one here also. this is my 13 th day on phrase 1 so i am doing good and enjoying it alot. alot of people on it and its fun doing it together. LaDean

Just wanted to know how you are doing on the South Beach Diet... Last heard you were almost done on Phase I....

How did that go for you.... How much did you lose?

How is phase 2 going?

angel, just got back on this board. sorry not sooner. i am doing great on it. today is my 24 th day on phrase 2 now. still losing. i have not gained in 10 weeks and have lost in that time 12 1/2 lbs. since last summer i have lost 20 lbs now. so i like the plan. so good luck on it. go to the above sites to and they are good. as this one is to. i go to all of them. love getting alot of ideas. phrase one i did ok. blew it couple times. but was losing so never bothered me. i had to get use to reconizing the fruit that is higher in sugar content. as i gain if i eat alot of fruit. now that is what i missed on the plan. as for the sugar i have already gotten off it. so that helped me. i have been eating the wheat bread and all to. so i missed it at breakfast. but just remember you do not have to eat breakfast things at that time can eat anything. have a great day. so sorry it has been so late i see so many boards and forget sometimes which ones i am on. i am 29 lbs from goal. angel, your welcome. what phrase are you on now? i am starting in phrase 1 again today. i like to change off and on some. today would have been day 24 on phrase 2 so going for one again. good luck to you. yes i hope to have #11 week no gains. kinda over did this weekend though. but hey today is my new day. have a good one. ANGEL. hey so am i we can keep in contact. started tuesday my first day so this is day#3 on it. so go for it. you will like. i lost so much bloat and water retention. especially through my middle. that is where all my wt is there and above. its a good program. i just cannot eat alot of fruit i gain if i do., so this helps me stay from it so much. course now its garden season so lots of good vegies... well hey have a good day. this is fun working together. hey if you like different sites i am on www.diettalk.com also. theres a big board there for the plan. and lots in different pharases of it. so give it a check. i am same name in there. you can use your same name here or different. its free and i like different ones. so if so come on over. Hope your week and day are good. i blew it on weekend. so today its back to being good this day and taking it just one day at a time. report often and i will to. its fun to work together on losing. good luck. LaDean my scales are up this morning so have till friday to get it off and a loss. did it before so i will this week. lol i go to tops.

Hey LaDean-

Well I have been really sick for the past few days so I havent been dieting.... then I have to go to my inlaws in Dallas, Texas this week so I am going to start next monday.....

I have decided I need to become rigid in my planning.... I keep thinking I will plan as I go along and that isnt working.... I end up sucumbinng to the bad stuff....

Angel, hey just do the best you can. Maybe just start on phrase 2 and go for that. it might help you. Just have a fun time and enjoy yourself. I watch portions alot and have what i want. I also do calories and this helps me. so maybe just find something that works for you to. I mix and match sometimes with different programs to. so when you get back you will find a plan for you. good luck and have fun on your trip. LaDean
