July Exercise Challenge
Hi all,
I'm posting the challenge for this month, nothing major about it.
Here are the rules posted by the Semo:
"Please calculate the number of minutes that you will exercise for the entire month and post them here. Then each day that you exercise subtract that amount and show the remaining minutes."
But...I think we are all aware of the rules by now. Hopefully i'll do better this month than I did last month. I was just a little slacker.
Hope you all come and join, seasoned members of the exercise challenge and newbies.
I am planning on pledging 900mins for the month.
Kathy

Well, last month was a great month exercising but summer is here and I don't know if I can keep up with my usual so I'm only going for 1200 this month.
Goal: 1200

Hi Kim!
I hear ya, it's so hot so it's hard to muster up the inspiration to workout, but every little bit counts!
I hope it's not just me and Kim this month, come on people start posting those minutes!lol

I'm going to join back in this month. I was really slack on the exercise in June - I think I exercised 7 times all month. No more though. I joined Curves a couple of weeks ago and so far it's great - quick and fun. I actually look forward to going there instead of having to force myself. I'm hoping this is the exercise plan I'll stick with.
I'm going to pledge 700 min. for July.
Chris

30 min Curves; 30 min walk/run
I thought my running days were over now that my arthritic knees are so bad. But I've been running in place at Curves and since it's on a platform with some "give" and only for 30 sec. at a time, my knees have been fine. So I thought I'd try running a bit outside tonight and so far my knees are ok. We'll see if I can walk in the morning.

Hi Kitkat!
Sure do miss you over at the LAWL board. To tell the truth, I'm not really doing LAWL right now but I've made friends there and it always help to keep each other encouraged, so I stay with that board.
The PT went very well, I'm on my last 4 sessions so it's time to put all that hard work to the test, since I'll be on my own. Can't afford to extend the PT for a while.
How have you been doing and what plan are you on?

Hi all, hope everyone had a great July 4th!
Kim-I'm not doing LAWL either. I joined Jenny Craig and I love it. I just needed a break from the starch counting, carb counting, calorie counting. I just want to be mindless for a little while and not have to think about this stuff. Besides I missed having good food. I was so sick of salads and protein, etc. On JC, I get to have cake (small portion of course) rice, snacks and i'm still loosing weight. What diet are you doing these days?
