How many servings are you eating daily?
 
I was wondering how many servings of fruits and veggies do you eat daily.

Currently I am eating 5-6 cups veggies and 3-3.5 cups fruit.

It varies tremendously. I should eat a consistent daily amount (because I have IBS and consistency helps prevent painful flare-ups), but sometimes I overindulge.


My plan (The Simple Diet) requires a 5 serving minimum and I usually eat 6-8.

Usually 1-2 cups of fruit or less, 5+ cups of veggies. That hasn't been happening for a while. Thanks for the reminder! :)

The 1-2 cups of fruit and 1-2 cups are usually in smoothie form then the rest of the veggies along with my meals.

30g should probably be considered a minimum rather than an ideal or maximum. About five servings of veggies a day, and maybe 2 servings of fruit per week.
