Hello I am male about 370 pounds again lost 50 pounds gained it all back when I hurt my neck.
I am on blood pressure meds and tried dieting last week again and a weird thing happened my blood pressure went up to 160/100 in 2 days. So I stopped.
3 days ago tried again and this time in 2 days went to 160/95.
I did not up protein at all. The only thing I did was more carbs and way more water.
I did some research and found out that it is possible that if you cut sodium out your body will release what it has and will raise your bp. I also read that some people with high bp drinking lots of water benefits them but some hurts them.
I also read that too low of calories does the same thing.
So my question is has this ever happened to anyone or would anyone here have a suggestion. I know you can not give medical advice as I am asking for opinions.
Thanks any and all help would be greatly appreciated as need to lose tons of weight but can not with my bp up and the symptoms.
