Default best BMI website?

I am trying to find out my BMI and want to set up my goals.. however, i cannot find a good website to find an accurate BMI.. anyone have one?

This is the NEW BMI calculator http://people.maths.ox.ac.uk/trefethen/bmi_calc.html

This uses the new formula, there is a post about it around here somewhere...

just a word of warning - the "new BMI" is not the standard one. While I am not a big fan of BMI as a realistic indication of any individual's health, if you are looking to meet BMI goals for insurance purposes or a similar reason, you should stick with the standard calculation as that is what they will be going by.

That link shows both the new and the standard BMI I am a fan of the new one, personally. Mostly just because it lowers the number for us taller chicks! I don't have to worry about my BMI for insurance purposes thanksfully

BMI is not a "reading" - it is a calculation based solely on height and weight. That's one of the reasons it's not very meaningful.

Are you thinking of body fat percentage?
