I weigh everday... and record it on a spreadsheet so that I can see how I'm progressing. (Yes... I made a little graph and everything... *geek*)

I think I'd get dishearted if I had a day where I retained some water and that happened to be my weekly weigh-in day.

I weigh everyday, first thing in the morning, if I don't weigh it seems like I go off program, I only compare week to week.

If it's becoming an unhealthy behavior limit it to once a week, when on maintenance WW only makes you weigh once a month.

best of luck

I have an Excel database with a spreadsheet and graph. Haven't kept it up lately since my ticker at tickerfactory keeps track but the graph is nice to have. I just got lazy and haven't been charting it.

I weigh myself daily, and input the numbers into The Hacker's Diet algorithm, which lets me track overall weight trends. I find it useful, but it's not for everyone.

I don't really weigh myself all that often. Since I have thrown in strength training, the number on the scale really doesn't matter that much to me. As long as I feel better and healthier and my clothes fit better is when I know I am making progress. I might weigh myself twice a month, but I don't dwell or pressure myself if I see the number not moving. I dropped 4 pant sizes with only losing 10 lbs.

In the beginning I weighed myself 1st thing in the morning and for awhile I would weigh myself throughout the day I was obsessed!
Now I play little games with myself and use the scale like a Carrot to be dangled to see how long I can hold out ! I have lasted as long as a week!
For me I know if my clothes are getting looser than I 'm going in the right direction.
I have broke down and bought new clothing as I have lost weight so I am able to use that as a gauge how I'm doing.
Since I threw out all my Sweats and wear pants with a tighter waistband I am
able to tell.
I believe each of of finds ways to motivate and play little games with ourselves to keep us on our path to reaching are goals.
Since. I can't give myself a Doggie Treat it's not IP ...I give myself a Scale Treat!
YUM !YUM! how sweet it is!!!

I'm doing Intuitive Eating - I'm not counting calories or carbs, so daily weighing helps me to see how I'm going. But Monday is my weigh-in day. Too often in the past I've regained because I stop weighing and go into a deep and multi-size denial.

That's what I do too. I have an "official" WI once a week for tracking purposes, the other days, if I feel like it, I do, if I don't feel like it, I don't.

I'm a daily weigher. But I do it in the morning and with just bra and panties makes a big difference. It helps me stay accountable. I would cheat if I didn't. Gives me gratification as I lose. I track it on MFP so I can look at my progress at look and see what I was a week before on that day.
U do whatever helps u stay on track!
