Hey everyone
Question:
I work at a restaurant and the chefs there make me this amazing and (seemingly) healthy meal which is basically 2 chicken breasts grilled with steamed broccoli and raw carrots. They then use the sauce from pickled jalapeno peppers and cook all three in the juice/sauce. It turns out, after reading the package, that it has a bunch of sodium (440 mg). MY question is, if the healthy stuff is cooked in/soaked in/coated by the sauce/juice and then the sauce is drained, how much of that sodium is actually making it into my body.
I'm not expecting specifics, but would like to know how much effect it might have.
Thanks in advance
