Default Anyone here try "The Petite Advantage Diet"

Hello,
I am totally new here and was wondering if anyone here has tried the Petite Advantage Diet? Let me give you a little background about myself...
I started at 222 about a year ago. I wanted to lose weight so bad and nothing had worked until I heard about the HCG diet. I was getting married in Nov, and just wanted to look and feel good on my wedding day. I lost 60 lbs on this diet. I looked better, felt ok, and was happy with the results. Well, because I had lost this weight, and everyone telling me how great I looked, I wanted to keep this image. So while maintaining, if I gained even just an oz, I would pop laxatives. I did this starting mid Oct, until just last week, when I took 8 over one weekend. I had no idea what it was doing to me until I was in so much pain that I had to tell someone, and seek help. I am now talking to a therapist, and she suggested this book, "The Petite Advantage Diet for women 5'4" or under" So I got the book this past weekend, looked thru it, and can you believe that I can actually eat foods that I like AND STILL LOSE WEIGHT! So I would really like to start this diet this weekend. I have a few girl friends interested, but want to see if anyone has done it or know someone who has. I know the book is pretty new, but I am not sure if the diet is. I have a more realistic goal of losing 40 lbs by Dec. 1.
Sorry for the rant, I am so excited to find a forum that I hope will get me to my weight loss goals.

Thanks!
Megan
