Where do I start? Questions, questions, questions...

Hi Everyone!

I'm 19 and weigh 234lbs.
I don't really know how to start losing weight.
I noticed that the way I do it really isn't that healthy. :S
What is some advice on how to start losing weight?
What are some great diet plans that you have used?


I noticed alot of talk about the 17 Day Diet plan, what's that about? Has anyone else used it? Would it be right for me?

Have you read the book? I am only a third of the way through reading the 17 day diet.
Currently I am doing a low carb, calorie controlled diet and it is working well for me. I lost 5 pounds in the past week.
