Lightbulb Need help with bananas

I know this seems silly, but I am not particularly fond of bananas (it's the only fruit I have an aversion to). However, for the past two weeks my mother has bought them and they are the only current fruit option in the house. I have been silently fuming as I force them down. Does anyone have any cooking suggestions for them that could help me put a spin on them?

You can freeze them for about two hours, throw them in a blender and get something close to ice cream. Putting a little chocolate or peanut butter in will add flavor

I think I will try a combo of the banana and peanut butter. Peanut butter is one of my more favorite flavors. Thank you so much.

Man, I loooove bananas.

Agree with freezing them and blending (make sure you peel before freezing). Just like ice cream. Add peanut butter (PB2 if you have it), cocoa powder, vanilla extract or even nutella.

Delicious!

Nutella! YUM! I'm trying to avoid the ice cream option though, for milk or possibly a cream option. I have to see what is currently in my refrigerator. Thank you for all the different input!

spread a little peanut butter on one then roll it in crushed cereal. (just be careful of calories as bananas have more than most fruits)

You actually don't need anything BUT bananas to make banana ice cream.

It's up to you if you want to throw peanut butter, chocolate or nutella (or whatever, really) in it for flavor though.

We use them in pancakes (combined with apples and cinnamon). Also, they can basically be added to pretty much any dessert as a sweetener substitute (something we do often!).
