How's it possible for me and my friend to have the same BMI but I look significantly fatter?! I'm clearly more muscular and am young with strong bones (never had a fracture)...

I know that there'll be a few really informed 3fc members who could add more. Off the top of my head, I know that height and gender are asked on the on-line sites to determine BMI. So that would be the first check. If your friend is asking for clarification or support, you could look it up on-line (google usually pulls up several calculators) and check both your heights and weights. If all comes out with remaining confusion, I wonder if one of you have a weight number that is not accurate? I hope more folks with specific knowledge will also add on.
