Fat Smash Diet

Hello, I am looking for anyone who is currently doing the Fat Smash Diet. I have been on here in the past and I am looking for a real strong support system.

DEDIKAYTED 01-05-2011 05:37 PM

I know the diet and have no problem supporting you... Have you already started?

yes I have started. I am on Day 5 and its going rough. i guess my body is in shock after i gorged on all the delicious foods over the holiday. i don't get much support at home. My family keeps on telling me its too restrictive and i am just going to fail at it. Today I really wanted to quit but more than anything i don't want to appear as a failure. So i am trying to stick it out.

Are you doing the original fat smash?

Why don't you tell me what you've eaten today so far?

Maybe you need to get creative with the fat smash foods. Sometimes it can get rough when you aren't being creative with your menus.

I posted a few recipes in my journal that are fat smash friendly as well.

For instance.. I used to take the brown rice, peas, eggwhites, green onion.. mix those together and it was like shrimp fried rice with no shrimp.. :)

Or take my plain oatmeal and cook it with fruit and it was more filling.

I think what got me through is - not being hungry. I didn't eat "just because" .. I ate when I was hungry off of the menu, but tried to eat things to keep me satisfied so I wouldn't be looking for something else that wasn't on the plan. :)

You can do this! If you are on Day 5, you are more than half way through the first phase!

Work it! You got this!!!!!!

Hey I'm starting on Monday for the second time; I made it half-way through last time and I really enjoyed it. There used to be a whole sub-forum dedicated to the diet but for some reason it's slated for closing or closing, I am going to inquire as to why and try to get one started up again, I know we aren't the only people doing this.

I am starting the extreme fat smash diet on Monday the 10th. I did this diet a couple years ago and lost 24 lbs in 8 weeks. I figure my weightloss will be slower this time, as I am closer to my goal. Good luck to everyone!!!

Sounds like everyone is geared up for Fat Smash. Great!!!! I really would like to get through one cycle of Extreme right now because if I loss 12 pounds I would be ECSTATIC!

I was waiting til I get to the grocery store but I may just see if I can get through it with what I have in the house. Fat Smash definitely works.

TTTELLIER! - Today is your Day 1.. How is it going?

tttellier 01-10-2011 11:43 PM

Not my best day... Was not able to weigh this morning and then unable to go to the gym because of working late. I have set up a babysitter tomorrow, so I will have no excuses.
Dedikayted - How's it going for you? how long have you been smashing?
Fashion Nelle- Is it getting any easier for you?
Fit4lyfe- did you get started today?

I did FS last year and lost weight before I got hip bursitis and some knee issues. I was down to my all time low of 142.. started doing some muscle building... developed the bursitis.. and a boyfriend... and ended up gainining some back. The hip bursitis really messed me up for a while. Not so much the boyfriend ;) I think I slept on the couch for about 6 months because of the bursitis flares. Whew. I am just glad that is over. Anyway, so I have been doing my own calorie counting with fat smashable foods and exercise.... doing my own thing... and losing the weight again. I am back in the 140's. Last time I checked I was bouncing between 146 and 149. I really want to be under 145 by month's end. I know fat smash pretty well and I really like the foods that are on the Original and Extreme versions, so the plan is pretty easy to me. Extreme can kind of get "extreme" because it is so regimented but at times, I like that. It takes the guess work out of my meals. When I am not following the plan exactly as written, I still try to stay within the calorie limits for the particular day. :)

Well.. gotta go. Hope you get that workout in today! Happy Smashing!

Hi everyone... I lost weight on Fat Smash a while ago. Just wanted to post the old recipe link for those of you who are currently smashing. If you search this forum....you can find all of the old threads. They have some great info. The Oatmeal cookies are so yummy! They really satisfy a sweet tooth.

When I did fat smash a few years ago, the oatmeal cookies were a life saver! Highly recommended!
