Hello! I've been wondering if my morning routine is as ideal as I think it is. I wake up and drink a bottle of water with lemon and green tea packet first thing in the morning with a multivitamin. Then I 'pregame' breakfast and eat about 100 cals worth of strawberries or other fruit. I do this because I read that it's easier to digest fruit alone vs after a meal. About 30 mins later I eat a big bowl of what I think is super-oatmeal. It's whole grain non-instant oatmeal with: cinnamon, unsweetened dark cocoa powder, flax seed meal, wheat bran, a packet or 2 of Splenda and a little bit of instant coffee mix
All mixed with water. The oatmeal comes to roughly 300 cals and I eat while I work at home so it takes me 30-45 mins to eat. That's sounds pretty good to me, but does anyone have a critique or suggestion? Thanks!
