scj - hope you had a great weigh in.
I heard that their is a new body bugg type product out that is about the size of your pink and that can be worn on a womens bra strap or at the waste. Would love to have something that small, but I am very happy with my bmf.

Thanks! I averaged 1.4 lbs per week when my goal was only 1.25!! So clearly my food logging accuracy is getting better and I am happy about that! I am trying to get out of the 130s before my birthday at the end of September! At this rate I will be! Fingers crossed!!

Well I'm pretty disappointed that after finding this thread & reading through all the posts I've discovered the thread has pretty much gone inactive.
Hello out there?

I've got to say I love this Body Bugg. It makes it so easy to see what I'm doing right & correct the things I need to improve on.
For anyone considering it, I highly recommend!

I'd love to get this thread going again myself.
I got a BB for Christmas and I do weight watchers, so haven't great about tracking the food in the app, I'm starting fresh as of today and tracking both places.
I've been plateauing a bit lately and I'm hoping this new accuracy will really kick the last 13 lbs.

We should probably start a new thread to drum up interest. I just, like minutes ago, ordered the bodymedia fit core. Can't wait for it to arrive!

I actually purchased my BB at the begining of my decision to lose weight. Since I've never really dieted (just watched my weight slowly creep up) I really didn't know how to start. So I read about the first two threads on this topic before I purchased a BB. If I had gotten to 3 & 4 I might have ended up with a BMF instead, but I do love the Bug.
It seems so easy. Eat less than what you burn. But since I never really tracked my food & had no way of tracking my calories burned accurately I think any time I tried to lose in the past I may have unintentionally put my body into starvation mode. Because I would see results the first week & then nothing, no matter how much I exercised. After seeing no results for a week's worth of hard work I would become discouraged & give up.
I know I didn't put this weight on overnight, so I don't expect it to come off overnight, but I need to see some downward movements on the scale to stay motivated. And being able to see my calories burned & my deficit encourages me to be more active.
Again I love it!
Melissa, 100 lbs lost! Wow! That is so impressive!
Moviegirl, your starting numbers & height are so close to my own. You've come so far!
Congratulations to you both.
If you don't mind me asking, how long has it taken each of you to lose the weight you have? Also, can I ask your age? I'm 42.
Have a great one!

I've been working at it for 3 years. I lost the first 30 in about a year on a medically supervised program, but then gained back about 5, and sort of stagnated there. Once I joined weight watchers it has taken me 37 weeks to lose the 26 or 27 I've lost since. I'm 35. Hope this helps.

Hope you're loving your BB as much as I do. Even though I didn't lose this week, I know I'm on track & hopefully next week with show a little bigger loss.
