I got on the scale this morning and I was up 2 lbs which is normal since its that TOM. Thankfully I have been tracking my weight for months now and I always gain during this time, but it still sucks lol

'sup bodymedia people. I am so tired. I'm also up almost 2 pounds but there is no reason (average weekly deficit of 1057/day) for this and the body fat measurement on my tanita scale is going really wonky which I think means it is trying to make a leap downwards vs the crawl that is more normal. Well, that's usually what the BF% going all weird means. Maybe it just got busted after 9 years, hahah.
We'll see if things go down again or if I need to change things up.

I lost the 4 lbs up I have been holding on to for a week, after corned beef for lunch last Wednesday! so back down to my low and maybe a trend downward again.
I have decided that if I can maintain my calories in (16-1800) maintain my activity, 4-5, 3-5 mile walks a week and still lose, I am good, when I stop losing then I am done and found my maintainace. could be another 5-10 could be nothing, but I know I will not give up my BB!

It is so funny..how our posts or thoughts seem to be the same. I was reading throught some posts the other day and read that the GWF was sent with a med strap...I had no idea...when I had ordered mine I also ordered a large strap so I would have an extra for when I washed one. I thought the one that came with the GWF was a large. Then I read it wasn't I went and pulled the extra one out of the box that I had ordered. WOW what a difference...I do like the larger one better!! The one that came with the GWF the med...was fine...but it started to have a wrinkle where my "muffin top" arm was pushing down on the strap...it was a bit annoying! I switched to the large strap and it is great...no wrinkle..and it all seems to stay nice and smooth! So glad I read that I was using the med all along..LOL...glad I also ordered the large strap when ordering my GWF :-)

I take my GWF off a few times a day...to shower, which I have it off for 30min or so...I just let the program give me an estimate of calories burned during that time. I also take it off first thing in the morning to load my sleep and the rest of the night before, it is only off for a minute or 2, then I usually do it again later in the day after I exercise and maybe 1 more time right after dinner...sometimes I will add an extra download during the day. I am a bit obsessed if I go to log my food and it shows I have eaten more than I have burned and I know that is wrong by looking at my display I will plug it in so I see a deficit..LOL.
As for charging it, I just got my GWF mid January...so I haven't had to do this a lot yet. But I fully charged it when I first got it, then I was down to about 35% and I was going to Sams Club the next day (a lot of walking) so I went ahead and did a full charge the night before to make sure all my "exercise" would be recorded. I charged it overnight...missed seeing my sleep being recorded but I didn't lose out on any major calories being burnt. THe next charge I did..I actually let the GWF fully die, which I thought I had enough to get me though the day but it went fast..and I ended up fully charging it in the morning, when I was doing some major house work, so it stunk a bit losing out on those calories getting burnt. Now I am waiting till my GWF shows around about 20% and I will do another full charge, I hope it hits in the evening so I will just be sitting around watching TV or hanging out on the computer while it charges.

dangerousfish, sorry to read about your gain....sounds like your deficit is good though....hopefully next time you weigh you will see a loss...did you have a lot of salt the day or so before weighing? Maybe hormonal??

I am scared about our weigh-in tomorrow for the summer challenge. I don't know why but after being on a 3-month plateau it hardly seems like I can just get back to my stead 1-2 pd a week weight loss, like I experienced last year. I know that theoretically there are so many things that can affect your weight day to day like water retention which can mask your true fat loss but UGH it doesn't make it any less frustrating. I am just going to cross my fingers, and I will for you too dangerousfish!

Ahhh so frustrating I know! I keep telling myself I will not weigh-in during that TOM but I do anyway! I am a glutton for punishment.

Anyone else have a problem with the GWF display? It keeps going out of sync and can sometimes be a total pain in the butt to sync back up. I have the arm band on my arm (properly) and the display clipped to my bra strap (for quick looks). It shouldn't go out of sync because it is only approx 12" away at all times.

Yeah my first challenge # might be off too because of TOM. Not for lack of deficit!

Mine is a BB not GWF but yes, I don't even bother with the display anymore it was more of a pain then it was worth.

Hmmm I have never had problems with my GWF display going out of sync when I am wearing it. Sorry you are having problems
