need information on food substitutes
hello out there!
my daughter, age 15 just started the la weightloss program (today is her 4th day) we sort of jumped in feet first, due to the fact that this is the first time she has expressed an interest in losing weight and want to encourage this as much as possible. However , it seems that the staff at the particilar center she has been attending always seem terribly rushed and not really open to a lot of questions. Among other things I would like to find out if there are any suggestions for substitutions for some of the foods that she is allowed to have, she is on the orange plan because of her age, I am wondering if say like tofu can be substituted for protien? It seems like some o the foods are not that healthy and that there should be substitutes that taste better and are better for you. The one thing I can think of without having the card in front of me is for 1/2 a Lenders bagel, my thought is there are probably plenty of bagels out there that taste better and are better for you. Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.Thanks
