Default the mirror

Last summer when I lost a lot of weight due to illness (about 30lb) I didn't realize how I looked until I saw some pictures of myself. I was really surprised. I mean, I was looking in the mirror every day combing my hair and brushing my teeth and not really realizing that I had lost so much. Has anyone else ever had this happen? Sad to say I was put on prednisone and gained it back but it was nice while it lasted except of being sick.

Sad to say, but I like to see my legs in the mirror, they look thin. But in pic's I'm still not as happy with my whole body as I should be. I'm getting better about being more satisfied and will eventually get there. I love not having a double/triple chin anymore. The strange thing is, when I was very obese, I thought I looked decent in the mirror and horrible in pictures.

I'm the opposite. I'll be thinking I look pretty good until I look in the mirror and then I think "gawd, you just look fat."
