Arrow Numb Stomach?

I've been having a problem lately.
The past couple of days, I've been experiencing numbness in my stomach. (Actually, it would be the fat around my lower abdominals). I haven't been doing strenuous exercises or anything out of the ordinary. Could I have a vitamin defenciency? Any ideas would be so greatly appreciated.

This will be a dumb response, I know, but have you had any kind of abdominal surgery in the past few years? I know after I had my hysterectomy a few years ago, every once in awhile, I still get numbness in my abdomen. And they say that is normal...but again, I don't know if that applies to you at all.

Numbness and tingling are usually signs of neuropathy. But its unusally to have it around the abdomen. How long has it been? Do u feel numbness or tngling in feet/hands etc?
It may be a Vit B6, B12, Folate deficiency, diabetes, too much alcohol etc..

It may be a good idea to take multivitamins and see a doc if it persists/worsens.

That very odd. Maybe you should go see a doctor. I have no clue but if the numbness hasnt gone away that cant be good.

I'm still having the numbness but I don't have insurance. I've decided until I actually feel pain, I'll just tough it out and try not to worry about it. I've been taking showers and eating well...maybe my body is trying to work against me to lose weight. I do eat sufficient calories everyday and workout a few times a week by walking. Thanks for your replies!

that sounded funny.. "i've been taking showers and eating well". I MEAN, I've been taking long hot showers to help with the circulation.

(..just didn't want to gross anyone out!)
