Question Embarassing - but preventing bumps?

After shaving bikini area? I know you have to shave in the same direction as hair growth - I have tried the over-the-counter bikini creams - anybody else have any suggestions?

Thanks

I started using the bladeless razors. No more bumps and no irritation.

Hydrocortisone lotion or spray will reduce bumps and redness, but you don't want to use it on any open skin (so shave carefully!)

Do I just do that right after? Or for like a couple days?

I tend to usually shave the WHOLE area - I am going to test this out and let you ladies know!

Use a scrub (like an apricot scrub) like a day before... I usually use plain sugar as a scrub, its cheap & everyone has it!

Hi, I got red bumps from hair removal cream and shaving, so I epilate, it stings slightly and leaves little droplets of blood, but they dissapear after a couple of days and the hairs stay away for a couple of weeks, as if ur anything like me after shaving there back growing the next day, and so far with this method I havnt had any ingrowing hairs

I use Monistat Soothing Care Chafing Relief Powder-Gel after waxing and it's fantastic. I use it almost every morning, and for the first time in a loooong time I don't have any irritation after waxing or using Veet at home.
