Default Do you have a square card reader? Do you like it?

I'm just looking for information about square card readers, as I need one for an organization I work with. I have one being delivered to me as we speak actually. But do you have one? ever had one? Do you like it?

I have one for my business and use it when I am on the road. I think the most important thing about Square it that most customers are already familiar with it, so few are wary about swiping their card in a Square reader.

I have also found the app pretty easy to use and their fees were a little lower than one of their competitors that I also considered.

Let us know how it turns out because I'm thinking of getting one for my business next month.

We use one and we love it. As long as you are ok with paying the fee per transaction. I think it's 2.9% or something around there.

I've never had an issue with it and it deposits money straight into your bank account.

Ask your bank if they have any similar options because they may have one that takes less of a percentage. Worth looking into.

Martina,

Square is freakin AWESOME!! Great way to take payments. If you're a small business owner- it's a life saver- a lot of my friends who run small businesses / independent contracting swear by it.

If you have a smart phone, another cool tool is an app called Venmo. You can literally transfer money to ANYONE else who has the same app. Really cool stuff.
