I found on my recent success journey that chemistry, choosing the right foods for me has been key. I have shed weight especially belly fat. I am eating fewer calories, and MUCH less hungry.
And I know I've radically changed my metabolism. Before I had very low capacity to burn fat and carbs were addictive and I was ravenous after eating carbs.
Now I eat so many fewer junk carbs. But when I do have a bunch at say a Mexican restaurant I stay hungry so much longer. And I've lost a lot since January. Wildly exceeded my expectations. Am I naturally thin? No. I was 'stout' throughout childhood. But by going low carb high fat I've come to find a diet that keeps full, healthy, strong, and losing weight.
