Ugh the budget is making me insane. I have been listening to Dave Ramsey podcasts, and he has ruined my life... (in a good way, I guess :/)

Today we spent $72 on groceries.

I like this thread. I find that I spend way too much on things I don't need, especially junk food. I'm in college so I need to be saving money for tuition and an upcoming trip to Vermont. Maybe this will keep me accountable by shaming me into saving money, lol.

Today:

Pistachio muffins x 2 = $2.38
Olive snacks x 2 = $2
Coke = $1.50
White chocolate covered pecans = $5.99
Hot dogs (???) = $0.99

Total: $12.86. Ugh. I didn't need a single one of those things.

This made me actually laugh out loud at my desk. My co-workers already think I'm an odd duck so I'm sure that didn't help, haha.

I love this thread! Of course, I'm a cheapskate at heart. Most days I don't spend anything. One night I went over my boyfriend's lunch budget with him. It's his money, but we share expenses and it was making me crazy how he was spending it. We intend to get married one day, so yes, I butted in .

Anyway, he was spending $70 a week on eating out!!! Once he saw that he cut it down to once a week. My point being, this is a great thread, lol.

(I must be feeling chatty today)

$161 on 3 school books (that's a racket isn't it!?!)
$30 (est) on misc at the store tonight

Oops, I fell behind.

Lessee, Saturday is grocery and other shopping day. I spent $120 at one grocery store and $40 at another. I also spent $80ish at Lowes for bird food and some thing-a-ma-jigs my husband needed. Don't even ask me what they were.

Sunday, spent nada.

Monday, spent $1.35 on my Bucket o' Diet Coke. (The price went up!)

Tuesday spent $1.35 on BoDC, $6 on stupid tax (I bought lottery tickets) and $50 on fuel for my car.

Today, spent $1.35 on BoDC and $35ish on take home dinner from Famous Dave's.
