I think about Gary every time I come into this thread. He will definitely be missed.

Another good night for us last night - Evan Gattis is turning out to be pretty fantastic. We are going to have some decisions to make when Brian McCann comes back off the DL.

I'm sure he battled to the end, he can rest now. RIP Gary, you will be missed.

Tonight is a special night at Busch Stadium, a celebration of Stan Musial.

They are giving out harmonica's at the gates and everyone is being encouraged to play "Take Me Out To The Ballpark" in the 7th inning, just like Stan used to do.

They have special balls with his image on them for this game with the approval of MLB.

His family will throw out the 1st pitch.

Kyle Lohse is pitching for the Brewers, his first game against since he was signed by the Brewers.

AND more importantly we are going to the game, should be a fun night.

Clyde, that sounds like a really fun night of baseball! Enjoy!

After sweeping the Padres at home, then getting swept by the Giants on the road (ending with a 10-0 loss), Rockies are heading to the Padres. Maybe we can win again.....

We had a nice quick game last night, just as well I was so cold. That's the coldest I've ever been at a baseball game.

Good thing we got the win and I got a nice harmonica. However I couldn't get a note out of it when it came time to play "Take Me Out To The Ballgame".

My goodness, Boston fans. What a terrible day this is for your community. I'm so sorry to hear such bad news. My thoughts and prayers are with you all. So sad.

Also thinking about Boston today.

We were off last night, which was sad with it being Jackie Robinson day. That is usually a fun game to watch. Back tonight after a great run in Washington. Hope we keep it up.

I guess you haven't been to any night games in SF. A number of years ago when they were still playing at Candlestick, they had a deal , if a night game went extra innings and you stayed until the end you were awarded a Croix de Candlestick. I just have one, I have it pinned to my cap even though it is so old.
