Yes I do! She started late at 3rd grade. LOL. That isn't really late, but I live in the hockey capital of Wisconsin, so for here, it is late.
She is now a freshman on Varsity and got the Rookie of the Year award.
Knock on wood, she's never been injured.
It's expensive but hockey families tend to trade vacations for hotels for tournaments. You can borrow or buy used equipment to keep costs down. Our rink fees are off set by volunteer opportunities and fund raising so I pay less than half what my sister does in a big city.
Time? We don't tell time like everyone else. It's either a half hour before practice time or 5 hours before away game time or time to run the concession stand or time to get a raffle item. Here, it's hockey all the time. But we don't want it any other way.
